A lot of firsts are happening this past year for Carly Pearce. Very first song on the radio, very first number one song, very first ACM nomination… BUT there is something that she is the first ever artist to do. This has been the start of a new year after a very emotionally draining 2017. Last night at the 2018 Grammy Awards Maren Morris, Eric Church, and the Brothers Osborne performed a Grammy-winning, Eric Clapton song “If I Saw You In Heaven.” The touching performance was to honor the victims of the Vegas Route 91 Harvest Festival & the Manchester bombing.

Even though it’s been months since the horrific events that happened in Las Vegas at the Route 91 Harvest Festival, we are still remembering and honoring those who died that day. And we will continue to every single day. Especially at big events like the Grammy Awards. Jake Owen’s first show of 2018 was definitely a different experience for most. He didn’t come out with the full band or with a huge light show. He walked out on stage and started just chatting with the crowd. His parents were there for the whole show sitting front and center.
