Brittany Aldean opens up in a podcast with some ex-The Bachelor contestants and reveals that she and country music hitmaker husband Jason struggled for several months to get pregnant with their now 4-month-old son Memphis. “Memphis was our last (egg),” Brittany explains on a new episode of the Babes & Babies podcast. “So it was like, if this doesn’t work–I was considering a surrogate. We were thinking about all the options.” The 29-year-old mom goes on to explain that it took 18 months and multiple attempts before she was diagnosed with endometriosis, a disorder in which tissue that normally lines the uterus grows outside the uterus. 1 in 10 women is diagnosed with this so it’s not super uncommon for a woman to have to have this dealt with before being able to get pregnant. Following a procedure, the couple got pregnant fairly quickly. Memphis was induced and born naturally (with an epidural) on December 1, 2017.
And of course, after all that struggle and then 9 months of pregnancy, Memphis comes out to look JUST like Jason…
