Well the popular mural was defaced this week, just weeks ahead of its five-year anniversary. The Associated Press reports that the “I Believe in Nashville” mural, which was painted by Nashville native Adrien Saporiti, was found covered in tar early Wednesday morning. Thankfully, landlord Andy Howell says the tar will be removed and the mural will be repainted in advance of the anniversary later this month. Located on the on the 12South Dental Studio building, the mural has become a popular spot for tourists to have their picture taken.
